2020 class has been Dabo's weakest

Lots of high potential guys, but low on actual production. Most of the top guys cashed in on their potential to the NFL but under achieved with us (Bresee. Murphy. Simpson) or ended up leaving the program (Bowman. DJU). Not a single cornerstone guy in the group. Capehart is pretty much the only guy left that can potentially have a major impact on the team next year, but he too has just shown flashes up to this point. When you miss at QB, it's hard to recover.

One of the best classes we had on paper. They weren’t bad but disappointing

Bresee and Murphy could have been the best ever .. Both only had one really outstanding year

Hard to disagree! I think Trenton Simpson had the biggest impact over the 3 years

2019 and 2020 recruiting classes are 2 of the reasons Clemson has declined

There is an argument for 2019 being the weakest

Booth, Tyler Davis and Ruke were all in that class. That's 3 pretty productive players for us. However, there was almost nothing on the offensive side of the ball from that group (as well 4 misses at LB) . There were 3 disappointing WRs in Ngata, Ladson, and Spector. Only Davis Allen at TE was a player for us. The QB recruit was Phommachanh. We basically got no notable offensive players in 2019 or 2020 besides Allen. We really shouldn't be surprised by our offensive woes the past few years.

And that's a big reason for not getting overly excited about any of our recruits until we actually see them produce on the field.

Bresee certainly had a lot of bad cards dealt to him (sister/injury) or I think he would have been exceptional !

I disregard everything associated with the COVID years. That includes player development issues because they put all the players through an absolute circus for two full years just to get on the field.

I'd like to agree with you but those schools that started beating us and giving us fits had to go through it too. I hope the coming years will see us back in a strong position, but these last few years are our fault.
