The ACC has elite coaching and QB

Prospects. And quite frankly, that's been the case for a number of years.
Say what you will but we are still a conference with rich history and tradition as well as academic excellence.
I know, I know. Nobody wants to hear that in today's world. But it's true. Outside of the revenue gap the ACC remains an extremely respectable conference. In a perfect world I would love nothing more than to remain in the ACC if we could ever figure out a way to close the revenue gap, which we won't. Oh well..

Franklin. Now look up how many QBs are on NFL rosters from the ACC as well as recent success of ACC QBs in the NFL.
I said elite coaching and QB play. However, defensive line and offensive line line play is where the SEC really separates itself.

No lies detected.
In fact the rumor is one of the worst acc teams beat one of the best sec teams by two scores.
There was a year in which the acc won the natty, Heisman, every major individual award, and head to head record versus the sec (is it really the best still?).
Do you think the media talked about it being the best conference that year? Nope…
Kudos to you if you know what year it was, hint: it was within the last decade.
You can tell who follows the media versus watches the games. The media has one goal, extract the most $$$ and telling the biggest fan bases in the biggest conferences that they might have a chink in the armor ain’t what sells…

Probably the best season in conference history.
Not sure why I'm getting roasted in this thread - ACC QBs and coaches go toe-to-toe with anyone. Just look up active NFL QBs.
However, the ACC has fallen way behind in the trenches. And probably at LB. And that's where the B10 and SEC start to separate themselves a bit.

Yeah, it was for one year. But there's no denying the sec is the best athletic conference. The B1G lives off history until the last decade or so.
Dw4 is correct that we have great coaches and have always produced QB's. Duke and ga tech have/had rich history in football... but to try and make the argument we're equal is laughable.
And it's ridiculous to try and play the fsu beat bama card.
I love the acc. Again, dw4 is spot on that we're a respected conference in academic, bball, and baseball, as well as the other sports.

To be fair the ACC is seemingly becoming a farm system for ND QBs and guys with “intangibles” good enough to trick Mel Kiper, although that’s a pretty low bar
