Cole Stoudt highlight video.....Fun! Ran more than I

remembered - not bad! Hopper, Leggett and Williams look like they will thrive with Cole's great touch passes! GO TIGERS!

A few things I noticed.

1. Cole is okay with hitting his checkdown. He doesn't force things. That was a problem Boyd had.

2.) Cole runs better than most give him credit for.

Watching this, I was thinking, "Man, 2011 was such a neat season." Then I got to N.C. State and West Virginia and thought, "How did I watch these games?"

Cole moves pretty well on reads and scrambles, but I don't think he'll be able to bulldoze the same way Boyd did without getting nicked up.

someone who doesn't claim to be a football guru. He has a quick release which is great to see. He runs a bit better than I remember. However, on the receiver screens, he seems very deliberate. The DB seems to be reading the play and breaking on the ball before he throws it. Only other concern I saw was him being able to hold onto the ball when being hit/sacked, especially from his blind side. I'm sure you could say the same thing about almost every QB. As for the WR screens, I'm sure that's something CCM will have addressed and taken care of before the end of August. Overall, I like what I see out of Cole....especially if our D can live up to what I personally believe could be one of the best we've seen here in a while.

I actually think his release is a little to slow on the quick screens and thats whats causing the problem. it also seems to me at times he's a little to quick to go to his check downs. All in all I think he's gonna be fine and have a great season.

Was it just me or were a lot of his better throws against zone coverage as opposed to a man look?
