We played Kentucky in the Peach Bowl (Tommy West's first game)

Each with nearly the same record as they do for this year's Gator Bowl (Clem 8-3, Ky 6-5)

Thought that was interesting. I don't post much in football, maybe I'm sure it's been mentioned

I think you're looking for 30 years...20 years ago we played Tennessee in the Peach Bowl a month after 63-17 happened.

Shh. Not really. I saw Kentucky play Clemson at Death Valley in 1981 when I was a little kid and I'm not really that old yet.

Correction 1982 was in DV and the 81 game was in Lexington.

Also saw William Perry get off the bus atop the hill. They didn't have jerseys to fit him so his belly just hung out. Lol.

Emory Smith show. I was a senior and went with my fiance. Everyone thought West was the second coming of Danny. It sadly didn't turn out that way.

Thought we were about to roll after the UT game ten years later too...
