It was on TV, ABC would be my guess. I watched it in the dorm; it was the only game I didn't see in person that season.

Even on games which were not televised(most), the coaches show had great highlights and a running commentary. Coaches shows were useful back then. Now they are just glorified filler between commercials.

That was a long time ago, but my recollection is that UK did a pretty good job of taking away the pitch in the first half. So, in the second half we ran the ball inside and took control of the clock and the game. In addition, Ford may have had the oline take wider splits which is something he would sometimes do when he wanted to open up the inside running game.

That year I recall the game vs the Heels was on television but even outr game vs Georgia wasn't televised. It was a lot different back then.

Game was televised. I watched it in Edgars with my Dad (Class of 53) while I was on my "official visit" - senior year of high school

My Family went to all the home games (had 4 seats for 25+ Yrs) & attended many away games that year including UK, UNC & USC..
And MIAMI. ??
