I’m ready to see how this plays out with the expansion. We have a good shot to make it, feel good about this years team with the addition to new OL coach major weakness last year.

Champions won't be guaranteed the top 4 positions. I'd say they'll be guaranteed a top 8 placement to ensure a 1st round bye (1-4) or 1st round home game (5-8).

What do you mean? Top 4 conference champs ARE the top 4 seeds. 7 at large teams are placed with the 5th champ in seeds 5-12.

Not following. The highest ranked 4 champions all get first round byes. Win the acc and you get a first round bye and top 4 seed. It’s really that cut and dry.

Then see how we do in an away game but with a win away that would mean we will have to play an extra game against a rested Top 4 team which in football is brutal.

This was all set up to add more SEC teams. No doubt about it. Watch how it unfolds. The NCAA is only a proxy for that conference.

It’s all controlled by EsecPN. That’s how the SEC got the sweet contract workers more than the other conferences per team. The B10 commissioner at least fought for his conferences value giving them the second best deal. The scraps were thrown to Big 12 and ACC who will almost certainly get only one team each and then the highest ranked group of 5 gets in. The EsecPN goal is to have 2 power conferences and a total monopoly of the CFP.
