and inability to run the ball this year, and i just don't think they can score enough points to beat Georgia. They are going to have no running threat at all and everything is going to fall on Bryce Young.

Their defense is pretty good, but it's definitely not elite this year.

I'm on record as not liking the idea that the CFP is intended to get the four best teams as I think that's an opinion ridden fool's errand. I think, instead, it should be structured to determine the single "best" team as determined by the results on the field.

In this case (in a perfect world) it should be understood that the SECCG is a de facto play in game to the CFP and that the loser is in likely trouble of not getting in (unless it's UGA and they get a lot of help by one or more of the 12-1 teams or Cinci loses their games).

But, that's now hot it'll happen in your scenario. In that case they will fall back on the eye test garbage and Cinci will be left out.
