the idea (thru the administration, the athletic program, the band, the military, civic groups, others)..
that America and its history, its possibilities, its uniqueness, its fairness, it’s willingness to improve and its people are worthwhile.
Today we witnessed it again in the positiveness but reverence given to our fallen, current & retired military members whom we honored respectively in music, song, word, dress and symbolism.
These feelings and traits of honoring America & Americans are still strong at Clemson which makes it worth being at Death Valley at any game & half-time..
but especially during a Military Saturday like today when a young Clemson football player crushed the National Anthem way better than most professionals heard in umpteen Super Bowl renditions..
and Tiger & GT bands combined to play our national military groups individual signature songs..and Perishing Rifles honored their & our dead comrades.
