Todd The Axe man by Surly
WEST COAST STYLE IPA
Our version of the West Coast Style IPA first brewed in collaboration with Amager Brewery in Denmark. Brewed with one malt, Golden Promise from the UK, with Citra and Mosaic hops. If you think Todd is a good brewer, you should hear him play his axe (guitar)!

so as a beer expert, what's the word on can vs bottle?

I have a couple cans from Devil's Backbone, first I've seen from them, of a Pale Ale I haven't tried yet. I don't know the cost concerns for smaller brewers. I've also received a couple of miss-filled bottles from them, I guess it happens somehow and they can't sell an 11 oz bottle...all in who you know

a lot of beer in cans these days. It's the new trend and easier to carry for tailgates etc.
Of course no matter if bottle or can it's going into a pint glass.

Cans are baby kegs

Far superior to bottles. Just don't drink out of them. In fact, NEVER drink out of a can or bottle. Those brewers work hard for you to experience that aroma.
But if it's B/M/C...just use it to kill slugs.

whatever. Pour that beer in a glass and I don't mean a red solo cup.
You don't drink a good wine out of the bottle.
I'll shut up with my beer geek preaching.

And both are fantastic because they block that evil light.
Random question: When you ferment in glass, do you cover the carboy? Mine have their own turtlenecks. My naked ones have made great beer.

I was at their brewery/taproom last month in Minneapolis (-1 because no flights....), and every beer that I tried was good. Their brisket was also surprisingly good too.
