I think Hurts has had it pounded into him to just run the offense, keep it simple and don't turn the ball over. He does all those things. I don't see him making many big plays, but I don't see him making many big mistakes either.

I'm watching the game with a Bama friend that lives up the street. He swears that the Bama offense looks extremely basic because that's all that Hurts has mastered so far. I have my doubts about that, but I hope it's true.

I was particularly impressed with that 7 of 17 for 41 yard no TD's and and INT performance against Clemson.

I believe that equated to a QB Rating of 4.9
