I'd shut it down for him. Obvious this isn't happening.

I'm glad to see Gallman and Kamara seem to be serious.
I'm sure it sucks to be hounded so much as a 17/18 year old. We'll see what happens for sure now.

All this drama reminds me of the Michael Carr saga from the Ford days. Big public battle for a kid who was a head case from day one. Withdraw the offer, tell the other 4 that we took to honor our word that they can go with him if they want to. We have done things right, now we are just looking stupid.

the impact that quality parents (or lack thereof) can make on a kid's life. I really feel sorry for the kid at this point, regardless of whether he comes here. He has a selfish, opportunistic mother who he's just trying to appease.

I think Tony Steward needs to have a serious talk with this kid on the mother/recruiting situation. Its sad a kid is bout to make the most inportant decision of his life and he can't do it on his own. Its suppose to be the first time in your life you make that all inportant decision on your OWN! Its your life! All of his teammates that commited to us to play with him as well, that would just be a real lack of character...it already is. Why even say your committed to a school if your going to say you could see yourself playing somewhere else and saying two other schools are in the mix. Apparently your not committed at all! I have a feeling Dabo is really close to pulling the plug on this like Marlin lane.

Sometimes I'm surprised at how mature some folks can be. The focus on recruiting was hurting the public perception of him, his high school and his family. We have no way of knowing what it was doing inside his family.
Its not his fault that every recruiting guru in the world is itching to print anything and everything said by him or folks close to him. Committing didn't end it, so shutting recruiting down will.

maybe he committed early, but it's his mom and ajc that are the prima donnas. I'm personally over it. Go win 2 games a year at ole miss. We'll be competing for championships with or without you.

him truly relevant for only 1 year before bolting to the NFL as he stated. It's almost not worth the headache surrounding him if this crap keeps up. Go ahead to Ole Miss and watch on TV as your Grayson teammates win a Nat'l Championship w/o you. BTW, it's almost alarming how important the comfort of playing with his brother or Grayson teammates is to him. Does he still sleep with a blankie? Does this stem from his overbearing mom?

I am going to get crucified for this but what ever. If RN does not honor his commitment to Clemson I say we honor his teamates scholarships do not redshirt any of them and play them in just enough quaters so that they are ineligible for any type of redshirt. Burry them so far on our bench that they want to transfer and when they transfer they will have to sit out a year making them all JR. and Sr. This will make a statement to top recruits that you cant #### in our face and tell us its raining. Plain and simple. I know I am overreacting I am just tired of this soap oprah. Come or don't we will be Clemson regardless and that will never change.

If RN makes such a big stink about bringing his teammates to Clemson and we acquiesce, then there should be consequences should he decide to back out, especially considering those scholarship spots could've been upgraded had they not been reserved for his Grayson boys. If high school kids want to play games with the big boy world, then they should be ready for the big boy world to put them in their proper place.

So you want to kill 2 four star recruits careers?
You are not overreacting !!!! You're dumb
The other two are very good players or Clemson would not have offered

Rivals has both of them listed as 3 stars and David Kamara is not even rated at his position. If you are getting your recruiting information off of a website that has both of these guys as 4 stars then you my freind are the dumb one. Do not fool yourself into thinking these guys are something they are not. They are average at best. No question Gallman is the better of the two but neither one of then are what you are trying to make them out to be. Why do you think Alabama would not offer them.

shutting down recruiting — Huh?
Nov 1, 2012, 3:09 PM
|
|
Ends by saying LSU & Florida are still in it. Plus, Mom will take calls from Alabama & not from Dabo. What about Denzel? Is he transferring?
I’m sure she probably traveled to Ole Miss when Denzel was being recruited, but unwilling to travel to Clemson to see what Robert saw in Clemson.
Mom just does not like Clemson one bit
