Shuey had great final game

Textbook hits on Miller and handled their large RB well. Anthony too. I can't recall too many recent games where LBs stood out so positively.

drafted fairly high! He was the MVP on defense!

Love to see the aggressiveness under Coach V. I suspect Keith Adams has had alot to do with that also.

Couldn't agree with u more

He is a great linebacker and will be missed greatly. That flag he got called for in the 4th quarter was complete bull$hit. Any coach would love to see that out of a linebacker. The guy played with an edge on his shoulder not only in his last game but all season. If all of our players played with the heart and passion he did we would win the NC every year. Couldn't say enough good things about him. Hopefully Ben Boulware learned alot from him this year because I see him as our next spencer shuey type linebacker.

Gotta love with a guy who always plays with an edge on his shoulder.

Not To Rain On Anyone's Parade

Jan 5, 2014, 9:51 PM

The difference was that we played a Big 10 team and had a distinct speed advantage at every position.

here's some rain for you too...
Braxton Miller is faster than Boyd, so you're wrong.

we were the better team & played our toughest game & balled out...
that's why Clemson won!!!

What are you talking about?

Shuey has been laying the wood all season. In Death Valley, we even started saying "Shuuuuuuey" (kind of like "Nuuuuuk") every time he had a good hit. He's played teams from the SEC, ACC, FCS, and B1G and done good against all of them. Plus, Braxton is really fast and Carlos doesn't have to be fast since he's big and powerful.

Line backing core was outstanding , Miller and Hyde will be in the ice tub for a couple weeks, also read that Miller cracked his rib, maybe from one of Shueys or Beasleys hits? We definitely laid the wood Friday night!
