WATCH: Tim Tebow thinks Clemson doesn't deserve to be in Top 4 |
ESPN's 'First Take' show had former standout quarterback Tim Tebow on the show Friday as they talked all things college football.
Tebow shared that his top five teams in order were Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Clemson. Co-host Stephen A. Smith asked why he has the defending national champions outside of the top four looking in if the playoff started today. "We have to cut off last year at last year," Tebow said. "This year's Clemson is not last year's Clemson team. Ask all the first-round draft picks that are now playing in the NFL. So we can't just say what you did last year counts this year. It doesn't work that way. It's a brand new team, especially a brand new defense, and they are not executing and clicking the same on offense. So I don't think it's fair or right to look at last year and give them credit this year for what they did last year." Tebow is trying to position himself as Paul Finebaum 2.0 which is kinda painful to watch. .@TimTebow does *NOT* think Clemson deserves to make the playoff this year ?????? pic.twitter.com/aV0zYDKRDr
