Two former Tigers impressive against 49ers

by - Assoc. Editor -

The Arizona Cardinals defeated the San Fransisco 49ers 18-15 on Sunday night.

One of the major reasons for the win was the play of former Clemson teammates receiver Jaron Brown and running back Andre Ellington.

Brown had his best game of the season statistically with eight catches out of 12 targets for 105 yards including a long of 32.

Ellington showed his ability out of the backfield with eight catches for 105 yards, and he also had five rushes for 18 yards.

Both players will be central components for the Cardinals offense moving forward as key running back David Johnson will be out with his wrist injury until at least December.
