Social media reacts to Clemson's wild win against Louisville |
Clemson survived a wild finish on Friday night, pulling out a hard-fought 20–19 road win over No. 20 Louisville.
It was a back-and-forth battle that came down to the final moments, and the Tigers made just enough plays to leave Cardinal Stadium with a huge victory. The Tigers are now just a win against Furman from continuing their bowl streak to 21 seasons (fourth-longest streak in CFB). Here’s a look at how fans and media reacted on X after the crazy game: It's a great night to be a Clemson Tiger! 🐅🏈#GoTigers || @NovantHealth pic.twitter.com/0T7fduQFsg When our grandchildren ask us about the 2025 ACC football season, we'll just show them this Clemson-Louisville game. You're going to have a hard time finding a funnier game this year than Louisville-Clemson. This game has just been a comedy of errors and it’s hard to even declare a winner. Hard to laugh though. Bad ball all the way around Louisville’s FG attempt is no good. Clemson has come unglued. Just incredible execution by everybody involved in this Louisville/Clemson game. Football at its peak. DeMonte Capehart may have just won an Oscar. This offensive unit has been absolutely EMBARRASSING tonight!! Personal foul penalties, conservative plays, QB just flat out can not get it done. Embarrassing tonight. Should have beaten this Clemson team going away. LSU/Clemson Week 1 pic.twitter.com/E7L0pM15J2 Clemson finding new ways this season. Oh no Clemson #CollegePunters omg clemson Clemson’s offensive coordinator is trying to lose this game 😭 Both Louisville and Clemson have a very large amount at stake tonight, and neither appears to have any interest in winning lmao. Every team that has faced Clemson has chewed them up down the field. But Louisville can't do that because everyone knows the QB is soft. Clemson is a win against Furman away from extending their bowl streak to 21 seasons! Clemson players stick around the field post game for a little longer, welcoming the Tiger crowd with excitement by the tunnel. CLEMSON COMES BACK TO TAKE DOWN NO. 20 LOUISVILLE 🔥 Actually--the record does define you...lol. Especially when you are one of the highest paid coaches, making millions, going .500 for the season. Love Peter Woods. Don’t want to see him carrying the ball again unless Clemson is up 30. It’s been a minute… 🤔 pic.twitter.com/tuQr1yJvrq “A minute with the Mann.” Clemson ML bettors were going through EVERY EMOTION in the final minutes of tonight's game 😅 pic.twitter.com/6PzD2TLHRy Waiting for Clemson's postgame media in a room across from the visitors' locker room at Louisville. It's ... very loud from across the hall. Lots of yelling and cheering from players. Overheard Dabo Swinney telling them in a postgame address: "We don't back down" The Tigers grind out a W in Louisville 🐅🔥 What a night with the Clemson Family 🧡💜 pic.twitter.com/Cvb1xVRKno

But I do love me some Dabo fire...let's just have it translate into the roster building and coaching next season.
If you had a game that encapsulates Clemson’s 2025 season…it’s this one.
But perhaps, underneath the mess, Dabo Swinney was 100% right about one thing:
This team’s heart shouldn’t be questioned. pic.twitter.com/4vgWKxsaCA
