Clemson commitment Michael Palmer took his scheduled official visit to Clemson this weekend. Palmer was hosted by tight end Thomas Hunter.
"It was awesome. Thomas Hunter was my player host. He was really nice. We just spent a lot of time hanging out. I can't wait to start this summer." Tight end was need for Clemson in this class, and Palmer may need to play in 2006. "The coaches told me I could really have a shot at playing this season. I just have to be strong enough. They told me to come ready to play." Palmer says he spent a lot of time with fellow commitment Michael Wade. "I was able to hang out with Michael Wade a lot, he's the quarterback that is coming in. We got along pretty well, and I think we are going to be roommates." Will Palmer take anymore official visits? "I am done with visits, this was my only one."
