Two Clemson commits add fifth star, jump up Rivals rankings

Two Clemson commits vaulted up the latest 2019 rankings update for Rivals.com this week.

Cornerback Andrew Booth (Lawrenceville, Ga.) moved into the top-10 on Monday and receiver commit Joe Ngata (Folsom, Ca.) joined him as a 5-star on Tuesday.

All totaled, Booth moved up 29 spots and Ngata, 24.

Ngata has posted 54 receptions for 1,132 yards with 20 touchdowns this season.

Booth shined on the national stage with an ESPN-televised game:

Receiver Frank Ladson (Miami, Fla.) rounds out the Clemson top-50 commits at No. 36 overall and the No. 7 WR.

Defenders in 4-star CB Sheridan Jones (91) and 4-star LB Bryton Constantin (94) compete the top-100 prospects.
