Eric MacLain visited Clemson last year as a group of schools that he was interested in.
The only reason that he decided to visit Clemson was coach Dan Brooks who had recruited him previously at UT. "I've known him since the sixth grade," MacLain told the Fayetteville Observer. So the stop there was just to say, Hey coach, how are you doing? But I fell in love with Clemson. It went from a nothing trip to the greatest thing that ever happened to me," Maclain told the Fayetteville Observer. He made a commitment to Clemson soon after the unofficial visit. He is ready for National Signing Day to come tomorrow. "I'm excited to get it over with," MacLain told the Fayetteville Observer. "I'm excited to start over again from the bottom of the ladder at Clemson and just work my way back up.
