Clemson coaches has been visiting the state of North Carolina in the last few months looking at several recruits from the tarhill state.
D.J. Reader is an offensive guard at Grimsley High in Greensboro, North Carolina. Reader was able to participate in the U.S. Army National Combine which is held in the Alamodome for many of the top underclassman. According to the News Observer: "Reader (6-3, 330) has been on the national radar since his sophomore year. He is known for aggressive play at the point of attack." Clemson has already offered Reader for next year's 2012 class as well as Duke, Maryland, North Carolina, North Carolina State, and Wake Forest.
