Five-star Clemson QB commit D.J. Uiagalelei led St. John Bosco (Ca.) from down as much as 23 points to take down top-ranked Mater Dei (Ca.) to win a section title on Saturday.

Uiagalelei threw for 444 yards and five touchdowns without an interception in a grudge match at the high school and possibly the next level to come. Alabama QB commit Bryce Young threw for 405 yards and five touchdowns in the 39-34 defeat. Young had gotten the better of the Clemson commit in their regular-season meeting, where Uiagalelei still tossed for 312 yards and two TDs.

Uiagalelei has posted 3,813 passing yards and 44 touchdowns in his senior season and over 10,000 career passing yards.
