Clemson has offered 5-star 2017 quarterback Hunter Johnson from Brownsburg, Indiana on Tuesday.
Johnson committed to Tennessee very early in the recruiting process on Aug. 23 and was the first Vols' commitment of 2017. He has early offers from Alabama, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn State, Purdue and Vanderbilt. As a junior, he passed for 2,545 yards with 31 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. In 2014, he completed 54% of his passes for 1,434 passing yards with 10 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
