Kevin Alexander was favoring Clemson entering the month of January. Alexander had already made an official visit to Maryland, and this past weekend his visited the Louisville Cardinals.
"It went well. I felt real comfortable there. That was what I am looking for. I think I can get some playing time there. Terrance Butler was my player host." Alexander had his exit meeting with Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino. "It went good. He told me spots were filling up quickly, but they had a spot for me. I told him they were my top choice." Alexander is scheduled to visit Clemson on January 13th. What would it take for the Tigers to regain the top spot? "My next trip is Clemson on the 13th. Coach Swinney is supposed to call me tomorrow or Tuesday. I would have to feel real comfortable like I did at Louisville. Clemson was my leader before I went to Louisville." Alexander knows he will visit Clemson and Tennessee, but he is unsure of his final visit. There is a host of schools vying for the fifth and final visit. "Tennessee will be after Clemson, and the last will be between South Florida, Central Florida, NC State, and Illinois. Illinois has been there all along, and they want me to take my final visit there." We will touch base with Alexander after his official visit this weekend to Clemson.
