Five-star wide receiver
Tee Higgins has signed his NFL on Wednesday morning confirmed by TigerNet.
"Man it feels good to officially a Clemson Tiger!," Higgins tweeted right after his signing. Swinney said Higgins is "one of the most talented kids I've ever seen on a football field" during Clemson's NSD party. The 6-foot-4.5, 188-pound Higgins is an elite playmaker by all the major recruiting services and one of the top wide receivers in the nation. In 2015, he had 46 receptions for 841 yards and 16 touchdowns and lead Oak Ridge to a 10-3 record and an appearance in the state playoffs. The 4-star playmaker was the first freshman to start at Oak Ridge since 2002 and had 23 catches for 387 yards and six touchdowns for the undefeated Wildcats in 2014. One of the top players in the 2017 recruiting class, Higgins had been a verbal commit to Tennesse before reopening his recruitment. Higgins is a huge miss for Tennessee as he is the No. 1 recruit from Tennessee, and the nation’s No. 3 wide receiver. .@teehiggins5 is officially a Clemson Tiger (@ClemsonFB).
