Elite 2016 defensive end Shavar Manuel from Bradenton, Florida will visit Clemson for an official visit according to ESPN.
Manuel plays for IMG Academy and is teammates of Clemson linebacker commit Rahshaun Smith. Manuel is a consensus 5-star player and is regarded as one of the elite defensive players for 2016. IMG Academy has seven players that are competing in rank for the Top 20 Florida prospects for 2016. "Clemson has had a great defense over the last three years," Manuel told ESPN.com on Wednesday. "They’ve been doing great things and I believe I can do great things at the next level at Clemson or anywhere." He has national offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Mississippi State, Missouri, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and others. He grew up a big fan of Miami's football team. Auburn, Florida and LSU are three teams to watch out for in his recruitment and one of his main factors in deciding on a school is player development and being comfortable at the school. 5-star DE Shavar Manuel will officially visit #Auburn, #LSU, #Florida and #Clemson.
