The Clemson quarterback competition will be heating up shortly as the Tigers prepare for the 2018 football season.
The quarterback stable is still full after recent transfers by Zerrick Cooper and Tucker Israel with Kelly Bryant, Hunter Johnson, Chase Brice, and Trevor Lawrence competing for playing time in 2018. Bovada released their latest betting odds on the 2018 Heisman Award on Tuesday and Bryant was a candidate on the list at 15/1 odds. In 2017, Bryant has passed for 2678 yards with 13 passing touchdowns and six interceptions while also picking up 11 scores on the ground. He also set an ACC championship record completing his first 15 passes and was named the game's MVP by going 23-for-29 for 252 passing yards with a touchdown pass. He also rushed nine times for seven yards including a rushing score. Clemson running back sensation Travis Etienne was also on the list at 35-1 odds.
