Former Clemson WR commits to CSU

Former Clemson wide receiver Demarre Kitt has committed to Colorado State on Sunday night according to his Twitter account.

“It’s been a long time comin but I’m official committed to Colorado State #GoRams,” Kitt tweeted Sunday.

Kitt left the Clemson football program back in 2014 and had reported stops at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Highland Community College in Kansas. At Highland, he had 30 catches for 489 yards and four touchdowns in seven games this season. He will have two years of eligibility left at Colorado State.

He had five catches for 47 yards (in 9 games) during the 2014 season and originally signed with Clemson as a 4-star and U.S. Army All-American football recruit. In high school, he had 158 catches for 2,663 yards and 28 touchdowns.
