Don Munson slams Georgia over their 41 percent graduation rate: "That's an embarrassment" |
It's almost game time between No. 14 Clemson and No. 1 Georgia for the AFLAC Kickoff Game on Saturday (noon/ABC).
Clemson radio announcer Don Munson ripped the Bulldogs on the eve of the highly anticipated matchup for their dismal graduation rate. "There's life after football, Munson said on the Sirius XM College Sports Radio show. "Swinney goes about it right. There are other schools that haven't gotten on board with that, to be perfectly frank." Clemson leads the nation with a 99 percent graduation rate since 2016. Munson points out that Georgia is terrible at graduating their players. "And one of them, unfortunately, is in Athens (UGA). Their graduation rate was at 41 percent and I will keep on saying this. That's an embarrassment to the folks at Athens, an embarrassment to the University, and an embarrassment to the program. They need to be better than that." Clemson radio announcer Don Munson with some choice words re: Georgia FB’s graduation rate a day before the Tigers play UGA … he calls their sub-50% rate an “embarrassment” to the team, the school and the city of Athens (h/t @LarryWilliamsTI) pic.twitter.com/CustuBxQB1 Folks in Athens GA should be ashamed.
