A Tiger Love Story: T.J. Parker marries his college sweetheart during bye week

Love was in the air during Clemson's bye week.

Clemson standout defensive end T.J. Parker tied the knot last Thursday with his longtime girlfriend, Azyah Dailey, whom he met while at Clemson.

"T.J. Parker got married last week so that's an awesome thing." Dabo Swinney said during his Tuesday press conference. "And, again, the season hasn't gone the way we wanted it to go this year, but…if he didn't come to Clemson, you don't meet his precious wife, Azyah. So, really a cool moment for him, and congratulations to them."

Back in August, Parker shared with ClemsonTigers.com how special their relationship is to him.

“Proposing to my fiancé (former Tiger volleyball player Aźyah Dailey) has been my favorite memory at Clemson so far and was definitely my most important goal. Coach (Dabo) Swinney told me in high school that I could achieve every goal I want in life and outside of football. To be able to meet my future wife here and compete for championships makes this place very special to me.”
