Clemson has offered 2016 center Dylan PainterDylan Painter TigerNet spoke with Painter on Monday night and he was excited about the new offer from Clemson. "I was happy and an ACC school of that caliber is an awesome opportunity." Clemson head coach Brad Brownell called Painter and relayed the offer to him. "He seemed like a cool guy and a very knowledgeable coach," said Painter. Painter will not visit any schools this month but might in August. He told us that the schools that stick out in his recruitment include St. Joes, Penn State, Iowa, Xavier, George Washington, Providence, Rhode Island, Villanova, Clemson and N.C. State. He has offers from Clemson, Davidson, Dayton, DePaul, Duquesne, Florida, Fordham, George Mason, Georgia Tech, Hofstra, Holy Cross, Iowa, N.C. State, Northwestern, Penn State, Rhode Island, Rice, Richmond, St. Joseph's, Xavier, Yale and others. In the 2014 season, he was selected to the Mid-Penn Keystone first-team with averaging 18 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks per game.
