This one is on me fans...my bad. I turned the game on at 66-66 just after BCs 6 pt run and we don't win when I watch...very sorry. I know the guys were trying but I was curious and we actually went up 2 on a nice jumper by the Tigers but I should've shut it off and we would've won.

What does it take for us to win a bb game? Same ###### from game to game. Get a lead, sit on it, lead dwindles away lose by 2 or 3.

This can’t happen and it is hard enough to when on the road so you absolutely have to win at home.

We’d be worse off without Brownell. We just don’t have any talent. Would any of our starters even get 5 mins a game if they played for Duke or UNC or Miami? No. We do not know how to close a game. Awful defense and no offensive sets. We’re a 16-13 kinda team good for a 1st round loss in NIT.

Isn’t it Brad’s job to recruit talent?

It’s not like he inherited someone else’s roster. These are his players in his team. The ones that blow a 23 point lead to a 6-8 team.

Same for me. With Brads teams it is just like a box of chocolates- you never know what you gonna get. I rode for 1.5 hours to game and same back home many times including during the week, I would have to go to work the next day. All because we would win a good game and when I went to the game we would lay an egg against a nobody. I got tired of the routine and now just check the score the next day. Don’t misunderstand me I want the tigers to win badly. Need to make a change

We’re well into “inexplicable” and “absurd” at this point.

Horrible loss after being up 23pts towards end of first half. These losses like these are what cost CBB his fandom loss!

Golly-dern if we would have only looked at the roster... We were up by twenty, but hunter Tyson gave up 1 shot so I had to bench him and go small.
Boy, those BC guys are soooo big when you're playing small...

Our new AD has to make a change on Men's BB side. Former Clemson assistants continue to beat us. Grant is a great coach. We should have kept him at Clemson when we had the chance.

Strongly dislike the commentator screaming in jubilation as we go down. Get a hold of yourself, and call the game. Amateur hour.
Watching a Clemson kid’s mom in the stands with a bc shirt on cheering one of the all time choke jobs added salt in the wound too

Clemson Basketball has always been a source of frustration for fans. From Bill Foster to Brownell, there seems to be a roster made up of one or two potential or even sure bet NBA prospects complimented by Southern Conference talent. Brownell is the just the latest in a long succession of Clemson coaches, who every few years, hit on a combination of players and game match-ups that allow for a tournament appearance, and perhaps a couple of wins that extend their contract. I'm not sure there is an easy solution to having a consistent winning program at Clemson outside of a massive coup hire that would attract national talent. However, with that being said, Brownell seems to have a coaching pattern of blowing large leads and questionable game substitutions. Decisions such as always sitting a player after a made free throw, especially if it is a momentum foul, seems to disrupt the continuity of any momentum and change the complexion of the floor chemistry. Brownell is without a doubt a decent recruiter and player development coach, but he is not a good game manager. He picked a horrible time to get a technical against BC, when at ND he seemed to hide behind his mask as the fouls were a landslide in the Irish favor. Brownell waited until there was no time for a momentum shift against BC before changing his defense to zone in order to disrupt the BC offensive rhythm. Blowing a massive lead at home with a very good crowd against an ACC bottom feeder is not just unattractive, but outright incompetent. I'm not calling for his dismissal, just stating my observations as a long time member of the Clemson family. Go Tigers!

And why did we retain the Tommy Bowden of Basketball again???? The new AD can really assert himself by firing Brownell and making a really good hire

Cheating Roy at least quit because he knew he “wasn’t the guy”

I wish Brad would just admit to us that he’s not the guy and let the program build something where he is unable. Golden State did that before Kerr. Great wisdom from that GM to realize the plateau didn’t meet the expectations. Nobody wants to see Brad run out of town on fire but I think he’s the only person that’s going to be able to prevent it—by creating a succession plan for 2023.
