Reading this and I’m worried about how much money I’m spending at the grocery store.

If it works, why not? You've got cents holding up dollars in terms of the payouts between the ACC and B1G/SEC.

Don't blame them one bit, the writing is on the wall if we too don't get out of the ACC you can say goodbye to our football future.

Should they be unable to escape the GOR/exit fee penalties of leaving the ACC. Being able to raise 9 figures privately would absorb all that lost revenue.

I get the feeling Clemson is watching how FSU is doing this and then determining if it's a feasible path for themselves. Maybe even learn what not to do.

Got no soul in Tallahassee...back to eating horsemeat...let the fools suffer! The never fit in the ACC, academically or otherwise...but they have still profited from the association but don't want to be penalized for leaving early! Unless gremlins signed the deal they should have to pay up don't think many would want them in now...maybe the pac2!

FSU is trying to let everyone else finance their disaster..selling out those Injuns for a handful of beads and h orsemeat is going for 2 cents per pound...new stadium name dumps Doak & Campbell both and will now be Lume & Prozac Stadium...so much for nuts!

This is far more an indictment on the ACC. While the SEC, Big 12 and B1G have smart and proactive during realignment, the ACC has sat on their hands and finally took 3 schools no one wanted and on the other side of the country.

And to add to my previous comment, when Texas and Oklahoma left the Big 12, the ACC should have pounced on some of those schools which would have expanded the conference and allowed the ACC to renegotiate our deal with ESPN and maybe bring in Fox or another network.

They, and we, should leave. The acc is an anchor holding us back

While alternatives look slim, they will show up. In 5 years, the former role of the NCAA will be taken by a different outfit and the 64 top schools will play in one of 4 divisions.
