Hootie Ingram and 1970 Freshman Football

When Hootie took over st Clemson, the 1970 freshman team was exciting to watch. Mark Fellers was the primary quarterback and ran the triple option. QB Ken Pengitore was also on the team.
Eddie Siegler was the kicker. Does anybody have stats from that season?

Based on the 1970 freshman team, I had a lot of optimism for Clemson’s football future.

Found rooster and results but I think some of the freshmen are missing. Smiley Sanders and Lawson Holland were on team

And I’m pretty sure that one, and I was on it, was the first to be 5-0.

And the last year Freshman were not eligible for Varsity!!

1971 was The Last Year Freshman were ineligible to play on Varsity
