you up, you don't need to be working in a bank. Or anywhere else that handles money, for that matter. Locks you out of a lot of employment opportunities.

In 1977 when the $2 bill started in Atlanta for the GT game, it showed me a lot of people in Atlanta were not observant or couldn't read. At least twice during that trip, I got change back for a $20 bill. The first time was at the Varsity. I bought 2 hot dogs at $0.45 each, 1 orders of fries at $0.20 and a big orange drink for $0.15 and got back over $18.00 in change. I did give it back. I will say the Varsity was very busy and it would have been easy to get in a hurry and nit pay attention.

which is a basically unheard of lunch price anywhere out these days.
Even at Skins you would pay close to $10 for a 2 dog, chips and drink combo.

Was going to order 5Guys Saturday (wife was out of town), ordered a cheeseburger, hotdog and fries. The app asked if I wanted to leave a tip, which I did (20%) and the total came out to $29.00. Are you kidding me? Needless to say I backed out on that order.

5 Guys are crazy prices now ...... always have been high. I tip pretty generously, but I've about had it at paces wanting tips when they have done nothing to serve you except take your money at the cash register.

I think it's a little bit different in the Upstate. It's not as rare.***

Most people regularly encounter much more complicated situations than what she described. Learn to deal with it like the rest of us.

Half of the reasons is because it is inconvenient for the teller! Actually having to do something is, I guess, way beyond their job description.
Incidentally, I like my bank's tellers. No telling where the one interviewed is from.
