FSU roster shows loss of very few players from

this year and with the top portal guys coming in to replace the weak starters of last year they will be the surprise of not only the conference but if the nation. They are starting to put more players in the pros than us but they are playing for FSU one year and moving into the NFL the next year.

Yep, the new stick is to act like everyone else is getting better while we are driving off of a cliff. Better hope we win at least two games next year with our scary schedule, apparently we can’t play against anybody anymore ??

We're not falling off the cliff but we don't need to be closed minded either. What's wrong with acknowledging another team is doing good.
Not too long ago, say 4 years ago, everyone jumped on uga as being the 2nd fiddle team and no way they'd ever catch us.

Yes, we just need to worry about ourselves and getting our offense back to being more productive and creating more explosive plays. The defense will be fine. FSU, Miami, UNC, VT, etc. getting better is better for us and the ACC.

Surprise?? They were the second best team in the conference this year. No surprise they will be pretty good next year. But my guess so will Clemson

Recall my mammories for me, but weren’t we beating the noles rather handily with DJU QBing, and still won the game, even when the D stopped D’ing in the 2d half?

You touched on what I see as a big problem

with building your lineup with portal players-- given that most of them only have 1 year of eligibility left, you're going to be starting over every year. And even if they come in with 2 years, current behavior patterns indicate that they'll move on to the proverbial greener pastures after a year.
I think Dabo knows what he's doing, but since he isn't talking about it, we tend to get frustrated.

If FSU can have one great year with these portal guys, then

theyll be able to recruit again at a high level because fsu will become cool again for high schoolers.
I think teams like FSU have to build from portal first and then try and get top recruits after they win.
You can get top recruits when you’re losing.

Oh, I think he has talked about it plenty. Some just don't like what he has been saying...

So they aren’t going to recruit HS players to play those

positions? Seems like a great way to do it, for positions of weakness use the portal until you’ve developed the longer term solution.

And they couldn't beat us with 5 at QB, we'll only be better on offense next year. I'm glad they are improving for the sake of the ACC and making our games mean something. But def not worried. Beating the S%#! out of SC and getting back to the playoffs is my only concern.

FSU is putting "more players in the pros than us?"

Are you sure about that?

Transfer route for only one year does not work out in the long run - takes more than one year to acclimate!
