Deshawn vs anyone is not fair so not going there until after this season.
I think Cade will have a great season, maybe not "Deshawn great" but great.
Going into the 2016 season I believed 2017 would be the year we won it all.
I was a year off as we won it that year.
Quick rehash to get the folks in Rio Linda up to speed.
2015 was SPECIAL and we tend to forget that. All this "forgettable" team did was go undefeated in regular season, win 14 games, and loose by just 5 to Alabama for the Natty.
Lets be honest, that was a great year.
2016 was not too bad, but I thought 2017 would be our year. Tigers again won 14 games loosing by just 1 point to Pitt. We went on to crush OHS 31-0 and beat Alabama for the Natty.
So how did my 2017 team do - GREAT! With QB Kelly Bryant we lost just two games, Syracuse and Alabama. This was GREAT team. Us fans were spoiled, but this was a GREAT team.
There are many, many reasons why these 3 teams were similar.
I would start with Watson and Venerables.
Before this transfer/nil crap Dabo was able to acquire some horses at all positions. Everything points that had Watson played another year, Tigers win the Natty in 2017.

I think Cade will have a very good season. Deshaun was a Heisman calber player, so I just don't see Cade in the Heisman hunt this year. We are all pulling for him though. Ready for the season already.

Cade will most likely - in the end - be looked upon as the better QB.
But DeChane Cameron is woefully underrated.

As qb's Cade is not even in the same ballpark as Deshaun. As a man, Deshaun is not even in the same ballpark as Cade. Give me Cade with better teammates this season.

I'm sorry, but do you know what kind of man DW4 really is? I mean, if I recall correctly this is the kid who was holding down THREE jobs while his mom was going through her health ordeal. AND doing class work. I dunno, maybe he did some of what he's alleged to have done, but I tell you this much. A friend of mine here in NC is a Marine wife and went to HS with him. She absolutely doesn't believe the allegations made against him as far as forcing etc. That's a better resource than I have for sure. As for Cade..I think he's a great kid, but IF we were wrong about DW, couldn't we be JUST as wrong about Cade? I don't think we are in either case. Just a thought however. Go Tigers!

Not sure how much our defense would have neutralized that offense although historically our D has held up well against those types of teams.

Granted this is loaded question...
I will preface by saying I was happy when TL replaced KB, because I thought TL could lead us to the champiosnhip and KB couldnt.
Having said that, who was better? Kelly or Cade? Or put another way, put Cade on the 17 team and Kelly on the 23 team, who is better?
