to expect your team that has great recruiting classes and who is in the running to win it all to have an o line that can block good enough so we can rush for more than two yards with the caliber of backs we have.

I'm not ticked when we lose respectably.

I am ticked when a man is paid $2M a year to put a product like our offense on the field Saturday night and a QB with a year of learning the system under his belt looks like a deer in headlights.

I hate to say it, but he looked like Tajh Boyd used to look against SCU.

That’s fine. We’re one loss away from not being a part of any story

But we had 2 rushing yards.
2.
Something is not right.

Can you imagine how hard it is to get, or to pile up any rushing yards when there is only a hand full of rushing plays called in 4 quarters of FB. And what's so bad, is that every coach on the Clemson FB staff has known since last season how hard that it would be to run on that UGG-A front 4.
I know that it was more than enough time for our offensive staff to coach our offensive guys the same technique that an option team uses to slow down an aggressive rush like an UGG-A team that we would face the very first game of the season, and I think that technique is called take their legs out from under them the way that GT use to do it, and it's legal, and they would have never expected it coming if our coaches would have waited until all outside eyes were out, and away from our practice fields.

Won’t be in the national picture much longer if you don’t make major changes to the coaching and development of the offensive line and offensive philosophy. Beating up on overmatched ACC teams isn’t going to cut it.

So if we win 80-0 Saturday we are back on track? Hardly. The ACC teams we will play will be gunning for our offense no matter how weak they are as a team. There could be another loss coming. NC State, Pitt, Florida State or even SC (another SEC team) may just be that team....

ACC talent level is pitiful. It's Little Sisters of the Poor. Clemson will win out and may or may not make playoffs.

You don't need a fabulous offensive scheme if you give the quarterback time to throw and open holes for runs. We lost it in the O-line, and until we are better in the offensive trench, we will be going to lesser bowls. Dabo would be better advised to emphasize dissatisfaction with the team's play rather than satisfaction that the whole country was talking about us after a loss.

Worst offensive called game in years. Elliot had months to prepare for Georgia and when they showed him, he even looked surprised. Even, Herbstreet was questioning why we did not do a QB sneak on the 5 of Georgia. Instead Elliot drew up 3 passing plays and we settled for a field goal. Dixon came in for one play the whole game, thats right the most experience back got in on one play and he ran for 10 yards, the best run all night and Elliot took him back out not to be seen again. The Offensive Line looked like a Junior High team against a high school team. When Elliot won the Broyles award, I told my wife that award should got to Scott. The offense has diminished drastically under Elliot. But oh yea coach we are upset. Georgia did not beat Clemson, Clemson beat Clemson. We need to fix the problems now or we will get another L from BC or NC St.

i think we're feeling the departure of Jeff Scott. either way, i'm not gonna act like the sky is falling. the D is great, no doubt. the O is only 3 or 4 qb scrambles from beating UGA. we won't (i hope) face another defensive front like that til post season. our Oline can only get better. DJ's mobility can only get better. play calling can only get better.
so, don't be surprised when we're 12-1, ACC champs and in the top 4, again.

Ticked, disappointed, angry, furious... However you want to put it Dabo...the OFFENSE sucked eggs Saturday. Stop trying to cover for the offensive coaches. They were not prepared, had no apparent game plan, did not make any adjustments and just plain blew it!!! This is also on you because you are the HEAD coach!!!

Dabo is a big part of play calling. And Dabo and TE are not good at it.
