We spoke with TJ Williams on his way home from Clemson Sunday afternoon. Williams was blown away by his official visit to Clemson. Williams stated several things that stood out his official visit.

"The most impressive thing to me was the West Endzone project. That is going to be unbelievable when it is finished. The graduation rates were impressive as well. Clemson is one of the top schools as far as graduation rates, maybe the best without the private schools. My mom really wants me to get my degree, so that is a big factor with me."

Williams' mom, high school coach and his coach's wife made the trip up to Clemson with him. Chansi Stuckey was the player host for Williams. He was able to bond with fellow wide receiver commitments as well.

"Rendrick Taylor, Terrell Smith, and Tyler Grisham are gonna be freshmen receivers too. We all got pretty close this weekend. I look forward to the chance to come in and compete with those guys next year."

Coach Dabo Swinney recruited Williams for Clemson. Swinney was a big factor in Williams' decision to pick Clemson.

"Coach Swinney and I have formed a bond. He was one of the first coaches to start recruiting me. I know I can come to him with anything and talk about. We have a very strong bond."

Williams says Clemson fans can expect a great student and player for the next four years.
