was in seventh grade the first time he dunked a basketball. The eighth-graders, all of whom could not dunk at the time, were pretty upset. “They were,” the Lake Marion Gators star athlete said laughing Tuesday night. “They were kind of shocked too.” A 6-4, high-flyer, Williams, who is one of the state’s top football recruits in the class of 2013, continued to soar over the competition through last year — winning The T&D’s inaugural “Slammin’ and Jammin’” prep slam dunk contest as a sophomore. A rising senior, Williams is back to defend his title this year, and he is confident. “All I have to say to the competition is don’t worry about me,” he said. “I plan on winning it again.”
