More on Chandler... Bubba Chandler - 4-star QB - Bogart, Ga. Committed since: 5/20/20. Listed size: 6-4 195. Brings to Clemson: The two-sport star saw his profile boom over the offseason as he added offers nationwide and he brings his talent to both the Clemson football and baseball rosters. Chandler has a strong arm and is athletic enough to scramble and make plays on designed runs. After being previously off-the-radar earlier in 2020, his evaluation rose to as high as the No. 11 pro-style QB in the nation by 247Sports. Depth chart fit: The QB of the near future has already played for Clemson this season with DJ Uiagalelei. The thing to watch with Chandler will be whether he will be on the depth chart at all, as there is some buzz about being a potential MLB draftee after his spring high school baseball season. He has told reporters that $2 million is the number that would get him to leave a potential two-sport college career. Brandon Streeter on Chandler: "This kid has all the tools you could possibly want as a quarterback. No. 1 just a great kid, but just athletically moves around really, really well. You can see how easy it is for him to get the ball out. Efficient release. Just does a lot of things we do in our offense and does them very, very well...His arm strength is awesome. He can extend plays and that's what we look for in quarterbacks is guys who can move, obviously throw the ball -- he's a guy who can see the big picture and also make plays inside and outside the pocket. Just excited about this kid. The sky is the limit and he's got a lot of potential."
