Josh Miller has been one of the more impressive players on the field this week in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Tonight, Miller continued to impress off the field as well.
"I have been coming to the Shrine Bowl since I was 13 years old and I have been covering for the last 10 years and met 100s of kids. He was the first player to ever greet me that way," said Tiger Source Chief Editor Mickey Plyler. Miller will play mostly running back this week for the Sandlappers. However, he has been pulling double duty in two-a-days this week. "It's really not been too hard. It is hard, but I just feel very fortunate to be selected to play in this game. You just have to put your mind to it and go after it. I can't wait to just play the game. This has been a very special week for me. I have made a lot of new friends." Sunday Miller visited the Shriner's Hospital with his teammates. "I didn't expect what I saw. It touched me in a special way to see how those kids responded to us. Whether it was signing an autograph or just saying the littlest thing to them." Miller committed to running backs coach Burton Burns over the summer and remains a firm commitment to Clemson. "I felt Clemson was the best for me. They made me feel very comfortable. I love the coaching staff, even though Coach Bowden has made some changes. That did not affect me, I am still going to Clemson. I may decide to take some visits just to have some fun, but I have not decided yet." Miller will take an official visit to Clemson on January 14.
