of Daniel High School committed to Clemson Wednesday morning. The 2013 prospect is the son of Larry Greenlee, Clemson's assistant strength and conditioning coach the last 13 years. Greenlee was extended an offer by Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney last Saturday, and the junior called Swinney this morning with the news. "I called Coach Swinney, and I told him I was ready to make my decision," Greenlee told TigerNet. "He said, 'okay, what is it?' And I told him I am ready to be a Clemson Tiger. I could hear them yelling and screaming in the room." He told TigerNet that despite getting interest from Maryland, Tennessee, East Carolina and N.C. State, he knew Clemson was the place he wanted to be. "I took a little time to think about it," he said. "But deep down that is where my heart is. Coach [Andre] Powell [now at Maryland but former Clemson coach] was recruiting me really hard, but he told he figured I would want to go where my dad is."
