Chris Chancellor will make his final official visit this weekend to South Florida. Chancellor has already visited Rutgers, Oklahoma State, Florida State, and Clemson. Chancellor visited Clemson last weekend along with his twin brother Demerick.

"My visit to Clemson went well. Tavaghn Monts was my player host. He really made me feel welcome. I met with the new defensive coordinator. He was a pretty cool guy. He showed me the game schemes they will run. I thought I caught pretty well to what he was saying."

David Blackwell is recruiting Chancellor for the Tigers, and dropped by the school on Thursday.

"Coach Blackwell came by the school. He just talked with me about my visit. I believe he is coming down next week with Coach Tommy Bowden."

Many reports have said that FSU was the long time leader for Chancellor. Chancellor maintains that he has never had a leader.

"I have never had a leader, but I just liked Florida State as a kid. I still don’t have a leader. Demerick wants me to come up to Clemson with him. Basically, I just want a chance to come and compete for a starting job. Also, I want to get a good education, so the school needs to have a good academic environment. I will have my decision probably towards the end of next week."
