Antwon Murchison flew under the radar prior to his commitment to Clemson. Graduate Assistant Billy Napier has been heavily involved with Murchison's recruitment, while the coaching staff is being filled. Also, Coach Ron West came in to lock up Murchison.
Murchison will take official visits to South Carolina (1/7) and Clemson (1/14). Before Murchison heads to South Carolina, he will receive an in home visit from Head Coach Tommy Bowden. "Coach Bowden and Coach West are coming by Thursday. They will be here before I leave for South Carolina. I talked to Coach West on Sunday. We just talked about my commitment and me coming to Clemson. Even though I will visit South Carolina, I am a firm commitment to Clemson." Murchison excels off the football field as well as on. Murchison boasts a 3.5 GPA and scored an 1150 on the SAT. "I work very hard at everything I do. My parents have always stressed academics to me. I try to be perfect in everything I do, whether it is football or books."
