Clemson coach Dabo Swiney spoke to the media following his team's thrilling 24-17 overtime win against North Carolina State on Saturday night and shared an injury update on his football team.

Clemson Wayne Gallman was injured during an impressive 18-yard run in the first quarter after a vicious hit to the head by defensive back Dravious Wright.

Swinney said that Gallman suffered a concussion but came back to the sideline and seemed OK. He was mad he had to leave the game.

Swinney shared that he came back and wanted to come back in the game in the fourth quarter saying that he could play. Swinney said,"I appreciate your heart but you are not playing."

Gallman will now go through the concussion protocol with the training staff.

"We've got two weeks before we play again," Swinney said, "and he'll go through the protocol." He will have two weeks to get past the injury before the rivalry game with Florida State.

Tony Elliott said during postgame interviews: "He's [Gallman] walking around upbeat, and he has a smile on his face."

Gallman's backup Adam Choice had a bad stinger during the game.

Hunter Renfrow was injured after landing hard on a near catch with 6:53 left in the fourth quarter against North Carolina State.

Swinney said that Renfrow got shook up when he came down on the play. Swinney said that his hand is fine after the play.

This was the first game action in four games for Renfrow after coming back from a hand injury.

Before the game, Renfrow had four receptions for 62 yards and two crucial touchdowns this season. For his career, he has 37 catches for 554 yards and seven scores.
