Tigers sweep AP ACC honors, land 11 on All-ACC teams

No. 2 Clemson swept Associated Press' ACC top honors with five Tigers on the All-ACC first team and 13 total Tigers honored on Tuesday.

AP ACC offensive player of the year Travis Etienne, ACC defensive player of the year Clelin Ferrell, offensive tackle Mitch Hyatt and defensive tackle Christian Wilkins were all unanimous selections. Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence also landed on the first team.

While not a first or second-team selection, freshman QB Trevor Lawrence was named AP ACC newcomer of the year.

Clemson's Dabo Swinney was tabbed AP ACC coach of the year, along with Syracuse's Dino Babers.

The Clemson offense led the way in the second-team selections with OT Tremayne Anchrum, OG John Simpson, C Justin Falcinelli and WR Tee Higgins, as well as LB Tre Lamar and CB Trayvon Mullen.
