Jackets win in extra innings, take series from Tigers

ATLANTA, GA. – Georgia Tech hit three two-out singles in the 10th inning to score two runs, capped off by Ryan Peurifoy’s walkoff single, in its 5-4 win over Clemson at Russ Chandler Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets, who won the series 2-1, improved to 26-17 overall and 11-13 in the ACC. The Tigers fell to 23-21 overall and 10-14 in ACC play. Clemson is 8-4 in its last 12 ACC games, as the four losses have been by a combined five runs.
