• Charleston Southern is led by interim head coach Adam Ward, who lettered as a catcher at Clemson from 2007-09.

• The Buccaneers won two of three games at UNC Asheville last weekend. They are hitting .261 and have a 4.70 ERA and .957 fielding percentage.
