has dreams of winning a National Championship at Clemson, and he is going to do everything in his power to realize that dream.

The 2013 Clemson commitment and 3-star wide receiver out of Marietta (GA) Lassiter has even turned into a recruiter, sitting with fellow 2013 prospects Montravius Adams Montravius Adams

at Clemson’s game against South Carolina and turning on his best recruiting pitch.

Jenkins told TigerNet he felt like he was only doing his part.

“I was sitting in the stands with Carl Lawson, Montravius Adams and Ebenezer Ogundeko, and I was telling them during the game that they would all have a shot to play right away,” Jenkins said. “I told them that Clemson is a place that could be home, and that everyone is like a family.”

Jenkins said he likes Clemson’s chances with all three players, and he will do whatever it takes to help the Tigers win a championship.

“They like Clemson a whole lot,” he said. “My personal opinion is I feel like we have a chance to get all three of them. I really want Clemson to be good in the future, and I feel like Coach [Dabo] Swinney has everything it takes to get Clemson a National Championship. If I can do that by recruiting off the field and then making plays on the field, then I am going to do it.”

Lawson is a 5-star defensive end prospect out of Marietta (GA) Milton and is therefore a former teammate of Jenkins. The Auburn commit rode to and from Clemson with Jenkins and his parents.

“Carl is always joking, and he was having a good time up there,” he said. “We got up there and spent time with Coach [Marion] Hobby and Coach [Brent] Venables, and he got to see the WestZone. We hung around up there, and he was taking a lot of pictures and he was having a good time. I know he really liked the atmosphere.”

Jenkins said that Adams, a 5-star defensive tackle prospect out of Vienna (GA) Dooly County, is quiet but he thinks the Tigers have a great shot with one of the state’s best players.

“Montravius is always quiet,” he said. “I know he really likes Clemson, and he has made a couple of trips up there for the games. I think we have a great shot with him.”

The game also allowed Jenkins to talk to Ogundeko, a player Jenkins met this past July at Nike’s “The Opening” in Oregon. Ogundeko is a 4-star outside linebacker prospect out of Brooklyn (NY) Thomas Jefferson.

“I met him back in July and got to know him there,” Jenkins said. “I think he is a beast. I know up there they don’t have the best coaches, but with the right coach he could explode.”

Jenkins said he is also beginning to get excited about playing for Clemson next season, and joining his brother, defensive back Martin Jenkins.

“It is going to be really exciting,” he said. “We talk about it all the time. I can’t wait to get up there.”
