Duke-Syracuse last night

I happened to catch the ending of the Duke-Syracuse game last night, and WOW what a poor job of coaching by K at the end of the game.
First of all, Coach K allowed two empty possessions at the end -- Grayson Allen misses an ill-advised three pointer with :45 seconds left and Duke up by 2. Then after leaving John Gillon wide open for a jumper to tie the game, Luke Kennard misses an awkward jumper with the shot clock about to expire. Who called these plays??
Then...Coach K leaves the hottest shooter (Gillon) wide open for a three pointer to win the game for Syracuse.
If this trend of poor play calling continues, maybe Duke needs to look in another direction.

Just like the other night. the opponent always goes where Sidy is. No D and a silly foul are possibilities. Syr and VT both did this.

His point is that this is acceptable for Coach K and Brownell because they both have so many NCAA tournament wins and titles.
