However, his announcement was delayed for over an hour as he waited for his mother to arrive at the press conference, where he eventually chose FSU.
Lavender scorebored: the Tiger Boreds were up in arms because someone started a rumor that the new scorebored on the Hill was – or would be -- painted lavender.
Humanitarian Bowl: Clemson fans were encouraged to contact the Humitarian Bowl in 2001 to help the Tigers gain a berth in the bowl.

Tigertide’s wife:
Tigertide had bragged about how good looking his wife was so he sent a picture of her to someone to post on the web. The web site was not secure and someone else got a hold of the picture. That person "modified" the picture and the rest is history.
Unfortunately I missed seeing the actual picture, but the fallout was pure gold.

The whole Ty Zimmerman fiasco:
Tymere Zimmerman was a high school wide receiver that that committed to the Tigers but never qualified. His status was the subject of numerous posts for months and months.
The Great Lunge Invasion of 2014: Started with Crump dumping some mange posts in the lunge. Several lungers retaliated by spamming the Mange with Lunge-type posts. IBWG, GWP, CUTiger2012, cutigerdave, and maybe CT88, launched a counter-attack on the Lunge and IBWG nearly borked the whole T-net. Several good men were lost in that fight. In addition, GWPTiger was banned temporarily before whining to the mods for reinstatement.

Heck I almost went cross eyed the first time I saw it.
Also, last January/February we were blessed with "SaphireTots" and his/her epic banter rants which were some of the best trolling I've seen. Even included a fake Facebook page with pics of some chic doing lewd things with an elderly gentleman who was proclaimed to be her grandfather. Said person even tried to arrange a TNet meet and great at Applebee's of Greenwood. Looking for that link now...

The original mesh covering the contractor placed over the scoreboard was, in fact, lavender.
Scores of outraged Clemson fans contacted the Athletic Department, at the prompting of TigerNet, insisting that the lavender covering be removed and replaced with the appropriate color purple which did, in fact, occur.
The same thing occurred during the first Littlejohn renovation when the contractor painted "Little John" on the court rather than "Littlejohn"

Man, those were good times. I still reference Zimmerman from time to time.
I remember for a couple years that whenever we were about to play Virginia, T-Net would be awash in posts mocking what a fearsome symbol the pergola was in UVA's stadium. I think it was 2001 when it got so bad that Crump had to step in and delete everything and tell everyone to knock it off. There was literally nothing on T-Net except pergola posts. Fond memories...
